People Inc. is seeking an AI Operator to join our AI Operations team. Reporting to the VP of AI Operations, this role focuses on designing and implementing agentic AI systems that are deeply integrated into our business processes. The ideal candidate will act as a business process engineer, leveraging generative AI solutions to enhance and automate workflows across editorial, product, and engineering domains.
About The Positions Contributions:
Process Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate existing business processes to identify opportunities for AI integration, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Agentic System Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that can autonomously perform tasks within defined parameters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Low-Code Implementation: Utilize low-code platforms to build and maintain AI-driven solutions, enabling rapid deployment and iteration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across editorial, sales, product, and engineering to understand their workflows and tailor AI solutions that meet their specific needs.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Establish metrics to assess the performance of AI agents, ensuring they deliver the intended outcomes and continuously improve over time.
Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for developed AI systems and provide training to end-users to facilitate adoption and effective use.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and system design principles.
Experience with low-code development platforms and tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in business process automation.
Experience in business process engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of agentic AI systems and their deployment within enterprise environments.
Hybrid 3x a week- (New York, NY)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $110,000 - $130,000The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
