Job Summary

Client Servicing Subject Matter Experts in F2B are client level experts with advanced knowledge in one or more specific areas or topics, operating as a liaison between our clients and internal teams. They develop and apply expertise on the Clearwater systems and processes to evaluate requirements and configure solutions to meet a wide range of investment accounting and reporting needs for Clearwater's largest clients.

Regarded as trusted experts, they have the confidence to make decisions and contribute to client success, whilst being able to provide instruction to team members regarding their area of expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the client's business requirements into specific system applications, process design, implementation materials/training and SOPs.

  • Fill in as Service Delivery Manager, leading client relationships, while SDM is out of office.

  • Trusted to deliver accurate, timely and thorough responses to any inquiry in both written and verbal contexts, with the ability to simplify multiple complex topics.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team to accurately resolve complex problems and client inquiries in their area of specialism, as well as broader financial or accounting topics.

  • Strategize with development teams to enhance our product offering, improve our client on-boarding experience, shorten delivery time frames, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.

  • Spread your knowledge by regularly providing mentorship/training, as well as designing and implementing training materials and SOPs.

  • Proactively work towards continuous improvement of processes, procedures, tools and resources within the team.

  • Manage and consistently complete assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources.

  • Key contributor for knowledge base and SOP documentation, leading efforts to drive client self-service.

  • Manage incoming queue workflow looking for requests which need to be escalated or aged requests which need to be prioritized.

  • Be a client advocate, recognizing escalations, identifying recurring challenges and developing solutions for clients.

Required Skills:

  • Possess deep knowledge in their area of expertise.

  • Broad industry expertise in investment accounting, using skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles.

  • Can own multiple projects at a time, achieving goals in creative and effective ways.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting or Finance-related field, or experience in relevant area of specialization.

  • 7+ years' relevant experience.

Salary Range 

$85,000 - $120,000 

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
