Summary of Responsibility
The Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and aligning and innovating our products, offerings, and engineering technologies. This position is ideal for a hands-on person who can enable our engineering team to succeed and responsibly deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be one of the key engineers in our team located in Poland. Your role will involve not only hands-on development but also influencing aligning initiatives, delivering high-impact solutions and building robust solutions with high quality.

Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration, we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 11:00-19:00 CEST, with core working hours being 16:00-19:00 CEST
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Mastery: Utilize your extensive full-stack development knowledge in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript, GCP and database engineering to lead by example. Innovate and implement advanced solutions in specialized areas of our technology stack. Hands-on experience in cloud computing. Having knowledge of DevOps, IaC, and Security concepts will be an added advantage.
Project Delivery: Commit to and consistently deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality.
Influential Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers across teams to align everyone to deliver on the business goals as per effective architecture and the right technical solution.
Strategic Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative approaches. Leverage strong problem solving skills to navigate and resolve issues effectively.
Collaborative Excellence: Work seamlessly with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams, demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills.
Requirements:
Strong technical proficiency and technology leadership skills are highly desirable
Proven experience with Ruby on Rails, CSS, HTML, Javascript, Typescript
Strong backend Ruby on Rails experience is required.
React.js experience is required.
Demonstrated experience as a strong individual contributor with a track record of delivering results
An agile work ethic and ability to adjust quickly to changes
Hands-on experience handling cloud computing (ideal GCP)
- Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
