Summary
Production Engineering at Pismo is a diverse, dedicated and passionate team of engineers and leaders, responsible for providing the core infrastructure for Pismo’s growing product platform across the globe. We are guided by best practices based on testing, continuous integration, automation and reliability.
Within Production Engineering, the Platform squad primarily focusses on building, maintaining and improving Pismo's core infrastructure hosted in AWS - including Kubernetes clusters, networking (VPCs, public and private connectivity, DirectConnects and VPNs) and security maintenance.
What you'll do
- Technological reference for the other team members
- Design the technology strategy to be used by the team
- Proactive and driven approach to problem-solving
- Skilled in automation to help the team to develop solutions and solve problems
- Identifies and eliminates technical barriers before they become blockers
- Provides roadmap for implementing engineering and architectural practices
- Ensures the squad meets quality, functionality and security standards
- Mentor and trainer to junior engineers, from coding to design architecture
- Handle production incidents during working-hours as part of a follow-the-sun rota
