About the Role:

Lyra Health is seeking a UK-based Senior Salesforce Developer to join our multicultural team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that hold the case data of 20,000 clinicians operating in over 150 countries. You will work as part of a dedicated team in partnership with colleagues in the UK/South Africa/US, and will collaborate with stakeholders, lead technical teams, and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality solutions.


Remote position: ALL candidates must be physically located within the UK to be eligible for this role. Ideally, candidates would be able to attend pre-planned meetings at our office in London as requested, and some requirement for international travel to Johannesburg and San Francisco to collaborate with colleagues.


Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
  • Solution Architecture:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce architectures, considering performance, security, and scalability factors.
  • Custom Development:
  • Develop custom Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
  • Components, and other relevant technologies.
  • Create integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Optimize Salesforce performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Innovation:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technological
  • innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development.
  • 2+ years experience leading the efforts of junior developers
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other
  • relevant Salesforce technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security.
  • Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Jitterbit).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Nice-to-have)
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Nice-to-have)
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Sales or Service Cloud Consultant)
  • Experience working in an international company would be plus
  • Experience working in a healthcare company would be a plus
