Multi-Site NDT Level 3 Role for Honeywell Aerospace EMEAI

Summary:

A multi-site NDT Level 3 role oversees aerospace inspection compliance across several locations. The position combines technical leadership, audit support, workforce certification, and equipment oversight. The role requires current Aerospace EN4179 and NAS40 certification in PT, MT, ET and UT, plus knowledge of Part 145 and Part 21 organisations. Responsibilities include supplier and internal annual audits, regulatory audit support, procedure updates, and maintaining technician examinations, training, eye tests, familiarisation, and proficiency records under NDE-001. The role supports Feltham, Bournemouth, Waterford, and possibly Yeovil, with 50% planned travel and 25% ad hoc travel.

Planned 50% & Ad Hoc 25%

Sites to cover: 

Feltham, Bournemouth and Waterford (and possibly Yeovil)




Responsibilities

Key Activities:

- Carryout all required Supplier, Internal annual NDT Self Audits per Honeywell/PRI (NADCAP) requirements.

- Support regulatory audits CAA,EASA,FAA, DNV AS9100, DCMA, NADCAP and Honeywell Network Audits.

- Write and update the NDT procures and Work Instructions in line with the latest NDT revisions and ensure all NDT are staff compliant.

- Ensure all NDT Technicians Exams, Training, Eye Tests, Familiarisation and proficiency test are kept up to date as Per NDE-001.

- Willing to support site visits and ensure all equipment and calibration is signed off and up to date and meets specification.

- Work the site management team to procure the correct NDT equipment to fulfil specifications.

- Be willing to support ad-hoc site visits to support NDT issues with equipment failures and fixes are in place.

- Support all Honeywell Aerospace Quality initiatives with Continuous Improvements, Quality KPIs, FOD and drive the NDT team to find lean, better solutions within the work area.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector.
  • Multi disciplined NDT Level 3 with current Aerospace EN4179/NAS40 PT,MT,ET and UT.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills, fostering a culture of quality and excellence across the organization.
  • Proven expertise of statistical analysis tools and techniques to strengthen our data-driven quality initiatives.
