(Sr.) Program Manager

About the Team:

The Program Management team within the Professional Services Solution Engineering unit is responsible for delivering and maintaining cutting-edge embedded and backend customer solutions that serve millions of users daily across industries such as Automotive, Transport & Logistics, and the Public Sector.

The Role:

As a (Senior)Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing activities within Solution Engineering and collaborating with various HERE Business Groups to meet our customer commitments successfully. You’ll oversee project elements including project schedules, deliverables, and performance tracking through key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll ensure projects meet targeted milestones throughout their lifecycle, manage stakeholders effectively, and take ownership of escalations when necessary to achieve project goals.

In this role, you’ll focus on ensuring that long-term commitments for delivered solutions are met. A deep understanding of the technical architecture of customized products, development environments, continuous integration systems, and the organizational dependencies of these complex solutions will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be accountable for setting project goals, achieving results, and managing cost performance
• Understand and manage customers' technical requirements to develop custom solutions, while acting as a cross-functional leader to align internal activities with customers' objectives
• Accountable for project-level outcomes
• Build and maintain lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect, both internally and externally
• Work independently, regularly engaging and communicating with senior management stakeholders
• Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to meet and exceed expectations for project deliverables
• Ensure all programs and projects adhere to defined processes

You bring a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding solutions. Your experience includes refining organizational setups, managing complex projects, and driving positive results through both direct and indirect teams.

Requirements:

• Around 10 years of experience in engineering, project & product/program management, with a track record of managing and delivering cross- functional projects in Automotive, Transport & Logistics or in the Public Sector.
• Expertise in supporting, maintaining, and operating production-grade solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience working with Agile development teams, as well as familiarity with waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Requires domain knowledge and technical expertise in ADAS and Navigation.
• Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills to ensure project success.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity in multilingual environments.
• Languages: English and German fluently, Chinese language is a great added advantage
