CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

  • Own the Master Production Schedule that ensures effective utilization of resources and on-time delivery.
  • Create, manage and maintain an integrated schedule that satisfies customer demand while leveling work to manufacturing, optimizing inventory levels and resource utilization.
  • Lead Daily Production Meetings as a resource for viewing and properly reflecting updates to both the Production Schedule and open P.O. Report.
  • Manages the timeliness of MRP transactions (work orders) that allow for timely execution of manufacturing schedules throughout all manufacturing lines.
  • Interface with Customer Service, Planning & Purchasing to assure that products are being manufactured and shipped in support of customer requirements.
  • Work with Project Managers, Facilities, Engineering, and Operations to identify nonproduction related Line requirements and schedules as appropriate.
  • Proactively communicate to management any changes to the schedule that will have a large impact on customer service levels.
  • Identify schedule risks, then develop and implement risk mitigation plans to provide assured supply confidence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
  • APICS CSCP / CPIM Certification is a plus.
  • Greenbelt or above training/certification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong people skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers.
  • Effective verbal/ written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, with good attention to detail.
  • Good planning, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and good all-round business skills.
  • A high standard of numeracy in order to analyze facts and figures.
  • Ability to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
  • Assist Xylem Global Procurement team with data collection, outsourcing and communication.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is typical office and manufacturing floor environment.  In addition, this role may travel approximately 10%.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
