Mission and Goals

The Sr. Principal Product Manager – Privacy is responsible for overseeing and evolving our portfolio of consumer privacy products. This role plays a critical part in creating and defining the product portfolio across all brands (Norton, Avast, AVG), ensuring product management is aligned with market needs, business goals, and product lifecycle.

  • Short-term goals: Set and prioritize product roadmaps, develop and manage product features, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver product vision and strategy.

  • Long-term goals: Drive innovation in privacy products, create new trends, and maintain a leading position in the privacy and security market.

Objectives

  • Work with the Head of Product for Privacy to set product priorities and deliver world-class products to market.

  • Plan and prioritize product roadmaps based on customer needs, business goals, and product lifecycle.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and market positioning.

  • Stay ahead of trends in the privacy and broader security domains, ensuring continuous innovation.

  • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and engineering to optimize product features, pricing, and promotions.

  • Collect market feedback to develop new product features and refine existing offerings.

  • Align multiple teams to ensure they are working towards common goals.

Competencies

  • Product Management Expertise: 7+ years of experience in product management within B2C or B2B SaaS.

  • Passion for Digital Privacy: Genuine interest in digital privacy and a deep commitment to protecting user data.

  • Product Development & Launch: Proven success in bringing products from concept to launch, with measurable impact.

  • Strategic & Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong ability to leverage both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform product decisions.

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments.

  • Conceptual Thinking & Execution: Ability to work with abstract concepts and turn them into actionable plans with tangible results.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional teams.

  • Passion for Innovation & Learning: A drive for continuous learning and building innovative digital products.
