We are seeking Product Designers to join our Experience Design (XD) team.


If your background is primarily in native apps, please check our careers page for our Product Designer roles in the Native Apps team instead. 

 

The role:  

 

  • Help shape and deliver the Rightmove experience.
  • Stay hands-on across discovery, interaction design and UI craft. 
  • Apply and contribute to reusable patterns, components and the Rightmove design system. 
  • Use research and insights to validate solutions and guide direction. 
  • Report to and work closely with the Lead Product Designer for the domain you join. 
  • Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Soho, London office and 3 days from home. 
     

What you'll be doing:   

 

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, User Research and fellow designers to create and improve the Rightmove web experience. 
  • Plan and conduct research to validate ideas and inform design decisions. 
  • Use analytics and evidence to iterate and refine solutions. 
  • Produce user journeys, flows, wireframes and prototypes to communicate ideas. 
  • Design responsive interactions and patterns for home-moving journeys. 
  • Work with Content Design to shape complex flows and messaging. 
  • Ensure accessibility and champion inclusive design principles. 
  • Contribute to the evolution of workflows and design practices. 
  • Document design thinking and decisions for delivery teams.

 

What you'll bring to the role:

 

  • Experience designing and delivering responsive web experiences end to end. 
  • Strong understanding of web interaction patterns, behaviour, performance considerations and constraints. 
  • Ability to design complex journeys and multi-step interactions. 
  • Proficiency in using research, data and analytics to inform design. 
  • Skill in producing polished UI and prototypes aligned with our design system. 
  • Confidence in technical discussions and navigating constraints. 
  • Ability to balance usability, commercial goals and technical feasibility. 
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills. 
  • Curiosity and creativity, including exploring emerging tools and responsible use of AI. 
  • Inclusive design awareness with attention to detail and quality. 
  • Comfortable working independently on scoped problems and supporting larger initiatives. 
  • Willingness to mentor others and contribute to raising design quality across the team.
