Position Overview:

We seek a motivated and self-driven network engineer who is interested in joining our global network infrastructure team. You will be part of a dynamic Network Engineering team responsible for designing and supporting all worldwide network services, connecting our operations across the globe.

Collaborate with Network Infrastructure and Cloud Operations team members to design, automate, and tune the network infrastructure to meet the needs of all business-critical services, employees, and customers. Your role will be crucial in supporting our company's growth and success.

Responsible for Cloud, WAN, and LAN network infrastructure in a rapidly changing global environment. Test and evaluate network systems for optimum performance to support ongoing and future business needs. Support worldwide expansion and projects as necessary.

This position is a blended role supporting traditional and cloud network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical networking solutions and their framework.
• Deploy network infrastructures in cloud environments and offices worldwide.
• Proactive management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical analysis of the global network and cloud infrastructure.
• Help with the development and implementation of global network technology roadmaps.
• Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network infrastructure problems.
• Design and test network systems to support disaster recovery and BCP initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to meet current and future business and regulatory compliance needs across Insulet’s ever-expanding global footprint.
• Lead and contribute to IT projects and work closely with IT leadership and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
• Consult with business units to provide workable, creative solutions to problems.
• Create, update, and maintain documentation.
• Manage worldwide data vendors to obtain the best network services.
• Work with the Infrastructure Systems and Cloud Operations teams to assist with their services and systems and support as needed.
• Interface with the Cyber Security team to design and continuously deliver security-related enhancements.

Education and Experience:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification preferred.
• Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong experience in network engineering work experience combined with previous working experience of cloud networking experience.

Skills/Competencies:

• Wide area (WAN) and local area (LAN) network experience.
• Configuration, management, and monitoring of cloud network infrastructure.
• At least 50% cloud network infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or Arista switches and network technologies.
• Multisite network design, configuration, and management.
• Network monitoring, reporting, and outage response.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
• Domestic and Global travel required – up to 20%.
