Leads NAND component reliability engineering for new memory products, including reliability test strategy, stress plans, execution, data analysis, failure analysis, qualification, and cross-functional issue resolution. Manages and mentors reliability engineers while partnering with product, design, R&D, fabrication, systems integration, and quality teams. As a Storage Technology & Product Group (STPG) Senior Manager in NAND Component Reliability team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of NAND product development team responsible for developing and executing NAND component reliability test strategies for Micron's newest NAND products. You will be leading a group of Engineers to test and characterize Micron's latest NAND product in all Product Reliability aspects, defining reliability gaps and work with cross functional teams to drive for resolution and to achieve product qualification on time. You will be working closely with NAND product, Design, R&D, Fab and Quality teams and your success will be significantly contributing to Micron's strategic objective of maintaining Technology and Product leadership.
Responsibilities includes, but not limited to: • Lead, develop and mentor a team of reliability engineers.• Work with NAND Reliability Architecture /TD/Media architecture/System integration teams to define and develop reliability stress, test flows and test plans to cover all Product Reliability aspects.• Responsible for NAND Component Reliability testing execution to meet the aggressive timeline by managing the project schedule and collaborating with Reliability Operation teams for test plan execution.• Analyze large amounts of reliability data and present it to cross functional teams to assess reliability capacity, defining reliability gaps and drive for resolution and improvements.• Debug and identify root cause and failures in reliability tests by electric failure analysis(EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) and drive for resolution and improvements through cross functional team collaboration.• Work closely with Global Quality team to define qualification plan, review the qualification execution progress and drive cross functional taskforce for qualification gating issue resolution.
AI/ML expectations• Experience or desire to learn generative AI and large language models (LLMs) and to use these tools develop agentic workflows to improve productivity• Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.• Experience with or desire to learn Machine learning and other advanced analytical methods
Requirements:• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.• Minimum 10 years working experience related to NAND Reliability or Product Development.• Good understanding of NAND device operation, Reliability testing and NAND-System integration.• Good knowledge of semiconductor processing and device physics.• Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools.• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional setups.• Excellent Problem solving and Analytical skills.• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.• Strong leadership characters.
