Job Description

Senior Manager (IT)

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to join the Data & AI Centre of Excellence within IT. This is a hands-on, technically grounded leadership role for an individual who thrives at the intersection of AI product management, MLOps engineering, and cloud architecture.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery and lifecycle management of AI-powered products and platforms, from ideation through production deployment and scaling. You will partner closely with data scientists, engineers, commercial stakeholders, and strategic vendors to ensure our AI solutions are robust, well-governed, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Product Management

  • Own and drive the product roadmap and delivery of AI/ML solutions supporting commercial analytics, field excellence, and HCP engagement use cases

  • Translate business requirements into clear, well-defined product backlogs in close collaboration with commercial stakeholders across Rest of World (RoW) markets

  • Champion user adoption by establishing continuous feedback loops and iterating AI products based on real-world usage and impact

  • Ensure AI products deliver tangible commercial outcomes and align with enterprise strategy

MLOps & AI Engineering

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable MLOps pipelines covering model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining

  • Establish and enforce ML governance standards, including model versioning, experiment tracking, bias detection, drift monitoring, and lineage

  • Promote engineering best practices across the AI lifecycle, including CI/CD for ML, automated testing, containerisation, and infrastructure as code

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure strong feature stores, high-quality data pipelines, and seamless integration with the enterprise data platform (Databricks Unity Catalog)

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a trusted bridge between technical delivery teams and non-technical commercial stakeholders

  • Communicate complex AI and data concepts clearly and effectively to support informed decision-making

  • Influence cross-functional teams and vendor partners to drive high-quality, production-ready AI solutions

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager delivering AI/ML products in an enterprise environment

  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of MLOps tools, frameworks, and best practices

  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure), with relevant certifications preferred (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer)

  • Experience with tools such as Databricks Genie and/or Copilot Studio

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent degree combined with substantial hands-on technical experience
