What You’ll Do
As a general guide, the role will be divided into the following activities:
Support the Annual Go To Market Business Plan for Logistics Service Providers – 50%

  • GTM approach, Budget Interlock plan creation experience is desired
  • Performance Analysis and Insight Creation w/ Differentiation is desired
  • Sales Plays & Sales Play Content Creation & Savvy Advisory simplified point of views for C-Suite audiences is desired.
  • Industry packaging, differentiation & industry messaging
  • Thought Leadership Content
     

Execution of Sales/Events – 40%

  • Sales support at CXO level
  • Participation in Industry events
  • Advisory boards
  • Building strong customer references
     

Contributing to Corporate Strategy – 10%

  • Industry trends - develop market growth and development plans for expanding industries
  • Support TAM analysis and opportunities
  • Business Cases
  • Investment input (roadmap, acquisitions, etc.)
  • Ecosystem Partnerships
  • Business models
     

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Logistics, Logistics Service Provider space, with a focus on industry-specific strategies or a Industry Leader i with demonstrated equivalent in software execution space.
  • Exposure to Transportation, Warehousing, Automation and Fourth Party Logistics models is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience selecting or using Tier 1 software Command Centers, WMS, TMS and Platform is desired as a user or influencer of the software selection.
  • Former P-L experience, operations, consulting and framework design partnered with sales methodology experience is preferred.
  • A self starter, who can hit the ground running and is accountable to do-say culture is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand complex industry trends and drivers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence key industry stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Experience in a team-based selling environment.
