Overview:
Blue Yonder is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Analytics Advisor to join our dynamic global team. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and visualization, with expertise in Databricks, SQL, Python, and Power BI. Experience in data science, decision science, advanced analytics, natural language querying, and GenBI is highly desirable. The role requires a flexible schedule to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders, including in the United States.

Scope:
The Sr. Business Analytics Advisor will be responsible for creating high-value reports, dashboards, and analyses that empower business teams to make informed decisions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Our Current Technical Environment:

  • Databricks: Utilized for big data processing and collaborative analytics.
  • SQL: Employed for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Python: Used for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of tasks.
  • Power BI: The primary tool for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • GenBI: An emerging tool for natural language querying and business intelligence.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights into business performance.
  • Lead strategic analytics projects, from UI/UX to data science and generative BI.
  • Utilize Databricks and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Apply Python for advanced data analytics and automation of reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Explore and implement advanced analytics techniques, including natural language querying and decision science methodologies.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar analytics role, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data science, decision science, and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Familiarity with natural language querying and GenBI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that accommodates US stakeholders.
