The Sr Accountant will manage foreign statutory reporting, compliance, and local service provider relationships for international entities, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.

The RoleThis position entails being a member of a team responsible for the Company’s international entities with primary responsibility for foreign statutory reporting and compliance. The position includes managing relationships with local service providers and applying local and US GAAP accounting principles to prepare accurate and timely statutory reporting and related local compliances for our South American and MEA entities.Your Impact- Ensure compliance with all country specific statutory accounting, tax, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
- Manage local annual audit and financial statement reporting process and prepare necessary schedules, reconciliations, and analyses.
- Support Local Service Provider relationships, supplying and reconciling all necessary reports and analyses, closely communicating, and coordinating with provider.
- Prepare information and analyses to support annual corporate income tax return.
- Prepare all value added tax filings. For some locations, this will be assisted by the external provider.
- Compile and analyze financial information and prepare fluctuation analyses.
- Monthly reconciliations of local to US GAAP results.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and internal audit controls.
- Suggest and contribute to process improvements.
- Create various analyses, forecasts and lead ad hoc projects.
- Interpret local GAAP accounting concepts and implement solutions.
- Operate under minimal supervision with latitude for independent action.
- Manage deliverables and prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of relevant GL accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Highly motivated and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and manages workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a flexible and collaborative approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Experience in a large global company preferred.
- Oracle or related ERP experience preferred.
- Fluent English language skills required. Proficiency in another language (French/Italian/German) would be an advantage but not compulsory.
