Overview:

Our client has some of the industry’s most established operators in the market and is a leading B2B company that prides itself on thinking B2C. Having developed into one of the most compelling and dynamic independent sports betting suppliers in the industry, the Company’s mission is to become the leading mainstream sports betting provider with a reputation for building high quality, bespoke and innovative products.

Scope of the Role:

Our client is looking for their first Head of Product to join their team and take full ownership of their product strategy to deliver best-in-class sports betting and back office applications.

This is a hands-on role where product execution and delivery is key and as the Head of Product you will be the key point of contact between engineering and business teams reporting directly to the CPO. You’ll be given full ownership of the product strategy/roadmap and will need to consider how new products and features may differentiate in the industry, as well as working closely with the C-level team to drive product culture and influence company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of industry expert Product Managers and Product Owners and drive/motivate the product team by continuous career progress.
  • Own end to end product strategy inline with Metric’s product vision and become the first point of contact to the C-level team.
  • Build and maintain a high performance, data-driven, diverse & collaborative product culture.
  • Partner with technology management team in an agile environment through definition, design, scoping and delivery 
  • Drive the product roadmap forward from idea to production to bring the top quality end user and back office products.
  • Continuously improve execution velocity by creating effective collaboration models, processes, and operations
  • Develop solid relationships with third-party technology suppliers including gaming platforms and content providers.

  • Proven record of building strong product teams and performance management
  • Self-motivated with high energy
  • Strong sportsbook knowledge and passionate sports fan.
  • Ability to translate complex, technical ideas into simple forms.
  • Sets standards and works closely with others to ensure they are met
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
