During this internship, the successful candidate will:
- Learn the details of satellite communication through the product offering based on the GEO and LEO satellites
- Learn how to coordinate activities (project management) with multiple engineering team including the network engineering, sales and pre-sales teams
- Learn how to perform basic satellite link budget analysis on GEO satellites and communicate with the customers the results of the analysis.
- Effectively summarize and communicate the findings of this study to the internal stakeholders
The successful applicant should have the following qualities and abilities:
Academic:
- Undergraduate student; Preference for degree path in Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Physics, Aerospace
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency with a range of Microsoft applications (SharePoint, OneNote, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of telecommunication and a curious mind
Desirable requirements:
- Knowledge of satellite telecommunications
Program details:
- 8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate
- 5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
