Join our Underwriting teams for a summer internship, where you’ll gain hands‑on experience in the reinsurance industry. You’ll work alongside underwriters and analytics teams to learn how we assess risk, support deals, and use data to make informed decisions.
What you’ll do:
Assist with data analysis, modelling, and portfolio review.
Support the underwriting process from initial broker contact to post‑deal follow‑up.
Work with internal partners (Actuarial, Risk, IT, Operations, Finance) to help evaluate and price reinsurance transactions.
Interpret model results and help prepare exposure and reporting materials.
Join meetings to learn about client and broker dynamics.
What we’re looking for:
A student studying a quantitative, analytical, business, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable working with data.
Good communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
Proficiency in Excel (or willingness to learn).
Curiosity, motivation, and an interest in the (re)insurance industry.
