Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$75,400.00 - $113,000.00

Purpose Statement:  Manage liaison relationships for capital equipment original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and represent all capital equipment suppliers. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Manage and negotiate contracts with Plexus suppliers of global manufacturing assembly equipment. 

  • Own the relationships for capital equipment suppliers and manage the leases and agreements. 

  • Analyze lease vs buy for capital equipment. 

  • Provide support and the purchasing for all global regions for prevention of line-down situations. 

  • Attend supplier trade shows to maintain relationships and research new industry offerings.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

Other Qualifications:  

  • Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence
  • Strong experience driving KPIs
  • Demonstrated commodity management expertise
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Strong data analysis and Decision-making capabilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Project management experience

Physical Requirements:  

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:  

  • Less than 40%
