As a Solutions Operations Analyst, you will manage complex projects, improve processes, and coordinate client engagements to enhance operational efficiency in critical industries.
The summary above was generated by AI

We live in a world that runs on physical industries like energy, logistics, manufacturing. These sectors are essential to our economy and daily lives, yet they are held back by inefficiencies, fragile legacy systems, and decades-old ways of working. This is not just a business problem; it is a societal one. When grids fail, supply chains stall, or factories falter, entire economies are disrupted.

These companies face unique, complex challenges that typical software was never designed to solve. Cogna was founded to change this. Our mission is to give critical industries their own AI-powered Software Factory: a way to build and deploy bespoke digital tools that solve pressing operational challenges.

Since our launch in May 2023, we’ve seen incredible customer traction and revenue growth. We’re backed by leading VCs, including Notion Capital and Hoxton Ventures, and we’re building a world-class team to take on one of the most important challenges of our time.

Tackling challenges at this scale takes people who are curious, adaptable, and motivated by impact. If our mission resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn’t match every requirement. We are committed to building a diverse team that reflects the industries and societies we serve.

Overview

As a Solutions Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling our enterprise account teams to deliver value for our customers. The role blends project coordination, process improvement, and hands-on execution to keep initiatives on track, respond rapidly to unexpected issues, and introduce systems that cut down inefficiencies. Success depends on being flexible, inventive, and collaborative, whether supporting large-scale customer rollouts, new pilot programs, or high-priority internal projects. Core strengths include using lean project management methods, fostering strong customer partnerships, maintaining precise documentation, and driving structure and efficiency in fast-paced environments.

What you’ll do

  • Client Engagement: Work directly with our enterprise customers to keep our engagements on track. Understand what’s going well and what needs to be improved, designing new processes to increase efficiency.
  • Solution Strategist Support: Be an interface between client project teams and Cogna’s solution strategists, unblocking issues and empowering our teams to work smarter.
  • Project Tracking: Ensure that all moving pieces are tracked, anticipating problems before they arise and proactively seeking solutions to minimise delays.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and analyse data post-deployment to refine solutions and drive continuous improvement in future iterations.
  • Build the Machine: This role is new, and we need someone who can “build the plane while flying”, iterating with Cogna’s leadership to ensure the role adds value and to map out the future growth of Solutions Operations.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably in a software-related role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations across diverse groups.
  • Detail-oriented project management, but with a flexible approach allowing for rapid iteration and a focus on outcomes
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • Some experience in collecting and analysing data for the purpose of driving improvements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal with ambiguity.
  • Experience in the utilities, energy, manufacturing, or construction industries is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and supervise deployments.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and share option plan
  • 25 days annual leave, plus public holidays
  • Excellent pension scheme, fixed to 7.5%
  • Private healthcare, including family cover and pre-existing conditions
  • Flexible hybrid working with 2 days per fortnight in our Farringdon office
  • Regular social events and offsites
  • Access to a gym and fitness classes in our office building
