Job Description

Reporting to the Solution Manager – EMEA, this is a dynamic, cross-functional role focused on shaping and delivering best-in-class shelf edge fixing solutions for the retail sector. Blending product ownership, supplier strategy, and customer-facing expertise, the role plays a key part in bringing innovative, commercially impactful solutions to market.

Key responsibilities

  • Expert level in identifying and creating shelf edge fixing solutions in a retail environment related to ESEL solutions
  • Identifying market needs through sales insights and feedback from sales teams and customers
  • Planning and executing product launches (pricing, product creation in SAP, safety stock, etc.)
  • Managing the product lifecycle
  • Supporting sales teams on requests related to the managed product ranges
  • Liaison with customers in conjunction with the sales teams on best placed solutions for their environment
  • Delivering product training to internal teams as well as partners
  • Vendor Relationship Management – develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers
  • Contract Negotiation – Secure favourable terms, pricing and conditions in contracts
  • Performance Monitoring – track vendor performance against SLA’s, KPI’s and business objectives. 
  • Risk Management – Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor operations and service delivery
  • Cost Optimisation – Drive cost efficiencies and ensure value for money
  • Internal Collaboration – Work with internal teams (procurement, finance, sales & operations) to understand needs and ensure alignment
  • Issue Resolution – Address vendor related issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Reporting – Create and maintain vendor performance metrics and reports
  • Inventory Management – Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand and maintaining optimal inventory to meet customer needs

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Duties

  • Experience – Proven experience in shelf edge fixings and accessories both in the field and vendor procurement
  • Customer Success – Experience in presenting specific product solutions to customers
  • Software Proficiency – using tools like SAP for tracking and managing operations
  • Sustainability – Considering environmental impact and ethical practices
  • Skills – Negotiation, communication, analytical, problem solving, multitasking, detail orientated, decision making
  • Strong leadership, communication and ability to interface with other areas of the business
