We are seeking a customer-facing Solutions Engineer to support pre-sales activities for spatial intelligence software, satellite imagery, and geospatial data solutions across UK & Europe government, defense, and intelligence customers.

You will work closely with Sales, regional partners, and global Product and Engineering teams to translate mission and operational requirements into secure, sovereign-compliant spatial intelligence solutions. Deployments may span cloud, on-premise, and tactical edge environments, including unmanned systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full pre-sales lifecycle, including technical discovery, qualification, solution design, and partner-led engagements.

  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical briefings, and proof-of-concepts aligned to defense use cases such as ISR, border security, maritime domain awareness, and disaster response.

  • Represent Vantor as a subject matter expert in customer engagements and relevant Defense industry forums.

  • Design end-to-end spatial intelligence solutions integrating software, satellite imagery, and third-party data.

  • Provide technical input to RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and Statements of Work.

  • Support business development efforts, including technical contributions to white papers, RFP responses, and solution strategy

  • Support customer trials, evaluations, and acceptance testing, including at secure or field locations.

  • Support deployments in tactical or edge environments, including UAS and mobile platforms.

  • Collaborate with system integrators and regional partners on joint solution design.

  • Act as the technical liaison between regional Sales and global Product and Engineering teams.

  • Provide customer feedback to inform product roadmap and regional requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Experience in supporting ISR, UAS, C2, aerospace, or defense system missions.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% internationally

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired:

  • UK MoD or NATO background.

  • Demonstrated success integrating technical systems in a customer-facing or OEM support role

  • Software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar.

  • UK and or NATO Security Clearance
