The Solutions Director leads a team responsible for defining the solution strategy, developing and enhancing existing solutions, managing the launch of new products and overseeing product pricing and profitability within the Private Banking & Wealth Management market unit.  They will participate in or be responsible for: discovery, customer and market research, development activities, technology and intellectual property management, product strategy, planning and decision making, product management organization and team relationships, co-development and alliances, process execution, and metrics (both financial and other).

What you’ll do:

       Plan, organize, and control an assigned service bundle from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives

       Oversee solution management personnel within the service bundle, providing vision, goals, guidance and expertise to lead a high performing team.

       Direct, establish, maintain, and plan the overall policies and goals for a solutions team

       Define the solution requirements to support Private Banking new business events and deliver client satisfaction

       Coordinate technical product development, estimates of potential profits, and release to production

       Drive product release strategy, interact with sales, development, and product marketing to define these requirements, and direct interaction with engineering and operations on product development

       Enable collaboration between internal/external stakeholders to proactively and effectively move agendas

       Set expectations and manage outcomes through extensive project management

       Define positioning of products vs. competitive offerings

       Pricing / profitability analysis of products

       Budget and expense management

       Manage strategic vendor relationships

       All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events.

Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.

What you bring to the table:

       BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience

       A minimum of 12 years industry related experience

       Knowledge of the investment processing industry

       Proven ability to manage multiple agendas and achieve results

       Experience in product sales presentations

       Proven leadership ability

       Business writing skills

       Excellent communication and presentation skills
