Job Description

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet the unique needs. You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and senior leadership to ensure that solutions are aligned with the client’s objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions for clients, ensuring they align with business objectives and are both technically feasible and secure.

  • Provide guidance on cloud, infrastructure, software, and integration architectures, using a combination of on-premises and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Create high-level technical documentation, including solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and system designs.

  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and technical blueprints.

  • Conduct critical analysis and recommendations for third-party solutions.

  • Perform gap analysis and recommend technical strategy for changes.

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering:

  • Work directly with clients to understand business requirements, pain points, and objectives.

  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, security standards, and government policies (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST).

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, providing recommendations for improving current systems and processes.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that solutions are implemented in accordance with design specifications.

  • Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring that solution delivery aligns with client expectations.

  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior architects, developers, and engineers.

  • Identify potential risks in solutions and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure that all solutions meet the highest standards of security and compliance, particularly in the context of government regulations and data protection requirements.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the digital government space.

  • Advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies that can deliver value to clients.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate of any IT-Related course

  • At least 10 years of related experience in enterprise-scale application development in windows platform.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Software Engineering and Architecture design.

  • Knowledge in APIs.

  • Knowledge in coding languages (c#.Net, Java, JavaScript, PHP, etc) and Operating Systems and Databases.

  • Knowledge in design and architecture of applications (web applications, mobile applications, including backend, front end, and integration layers) data architecture (data to be used by each application and integrations), integration (middleware/ architecture REST API / others), microservice architecture

  • Knowledge in serverless architectures.

  • Skills in developing and validating systems.

  • Skills solution patterns and best practices.

  • Skills in integrate all systems including operating systems applications, networks, and databases.

  • C#.NET Core

  • React.js or Next.js

  • Node.js or Nest.js

  • Angular (version 18+)

  • Python

  • Integration Expertise (Highly Preferred)

  • AI/ML Exposure (Good to Have)

  • Understanding of AI/ML models previously used, integrated, or deployed.

  • Experience working with inference pipelines is a plus.

  • DevOps, CI/CD & Automation

  • Docker / Kubernetes or enterprise equivalents such as RedHat OpenShift (OCP) / Tanzu

  • Automated testing frameworks (NUnit, JUnit, XUnit)

  • CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
