Join Boomi as an APIM Solutions Architect, EMEA Partner Ecosystem on our Sales Engineering team in EMEA.

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise in API Management (APIM) and business acumen to support our channel partners. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sophisticated APIM products, services, and solutions that empower our partners to deliver innovative and relevant solutions to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a technology plan for channel partners, with a focus on API Management, including future state architectures, tactical initiatives, and business-relevant technology solutions.
  • Research and share insights on APIM trends, including key platforms like Mashery, MuleSoft, Axway, and others, mentoring partners on their application in solving complex integration and digital transformation challenges.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive APIM solutions and iPaaS integration tools, including MuleSoft, Axway, Mashery, Informatica, and Workato, to effectively address partner needs and articulate Boomi's value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner decision-makers, from executive levels to technical architects and development teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Support partners in designing and implementing API-driven go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with Boomi's objectives and partner success metrics.
  • Assist partners with technical discovery, demos, proof of value, solution architecture, and the implementation of API Management solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to execute account strategies and expand APIM-related opportunities within the partner ecosystem.
  • Provide technical expertise in API Management to PAMs and BDMs, enabling alignment between partner initiatives and Boomi's APIM offerings.
  • Participate in partner meetings, providing deep technical insights and actionable recommendations to enhance engagement and APIM solution adoption.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as product management, marketing, and sales to ensure effective support and alignment around Boomi's APIM vision.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Relevant selling or hands-on implementation/architecture experience in API Management solutions such as Mashery, MuleSoft, and Axway.
  • Expertise in API-first design principles, microservices architecture, and bridging traditional middleware with modern APIM solutions.
  • 10+ years of related experience in a relationship-selling or technical implementation role, with a focus on API Management and integration.
  • Familiarity with sophisticated integration offerings, including iPaaS tools, ETL processes, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies, identity and access management (IAM), and DevOps practices relevant to APIM.
  • Deep knowledge of the ISV partner ecosystem in EMEA and its relevance to API-driven business models.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing APIM solutions within the partner ecosystem.
  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market plans for APIM platforms, driving measurable business outcomes with partners.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively convey the value of APIM solutions to partners and their customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
