Job Description

CyberArk is looking for a Solutions Engineer - Workforce & Developers with a focus on sales activities within the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The Solutions Engineer - Workforce & Developers is an experienced Solutions Engineer (SE) who acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Workforce & Developers solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with our Solution Sales Specialists and together form an extended specialized sales team in which the SME is responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle. The Solutions Engineer - Workforce & Developers must demonstrate value during presentations, articulate technical challenges, pair with CyberArk solutions, and provide technical knowledge and experience to earn customer trust.

CyberArk Solutions Engineers work with the sales organisation and are responsible for establishing the value of CyberArk products to prospective and current customers through demos, presentations, meetings, and POCs. This role focuses on CyberArk’s Workforce & Developers solutions, a subset of the CyberArk portfolio which includes Identity & Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, and Endpoint Security and for which the SME should be a technical point of contact within the sub-regional Solutions Engineers and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Form a strong, specialised sales team with the Solution Sales Specialists assigned to your sub-regions.
  • Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around CyberArk technology. Use your knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, and Endpoint Security concepts to understand and align with customer needs, matching their problems with CyberArk solutions.
  • Plan and execute POCs of CyberArk IAM, IGA and Endpoint Security products with prospective customers. Use your sales experience to position CyberArk’s value and differentiators.
  • Document customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Collect and deliver constant feedback to CyberArk’s Solutions and Product Management teams to influence product direction and champion the voice of your customers.
  • Earn customer trust by demonstrating expertise in the IAM, IGA and Endpoint Security domains.
  • Present and evangelise during tradeshows and customer events.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge (2+ years) of Identity & Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration and/or Endpoint Security related technology – i.e., MFA/SSO, IDP/Directory Services/Federation, Identity lifecycle management, No-Code/Low-Code automation, Least Privilege principles, and any related topics.
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management vendors and products; ability to compare with CyberArk products. An emphasis on (IAM/IGA) vendors and technologies in use across large enterprises for both on-premises and cloud is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and professional demeanour. Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to elaborate and discuss about medium and large architectural aspects of identity management and cybersecurity deployments
  • An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organisations that meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment; adaptable.
  • Experience navigating enterprise scale sales cycles preferred.
  • Scripting knowledge preferred.
