About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled Solution Consulting team you will have the opportunity to learn new and demonstrate existing skills while being challenged daily. On a typical day, your tasks will include connecting the business needs of prospective clients with Workday solutions by crafting high-quality, contextual content and delivering creative and engaging presentations that will help our customers transform and streamline their business to reach the strategic goals and tackle business challenges.About the Role
In this role, you will use and further develop your presentation abilities, collaborative solution consulting experience, and Financials expertise to articulate and differentiate the value for, and expand the adoption of Workday
Our Solution Consulting teams are strategically collaborating with the sales organisation: responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach.
You will be equipped to provide in-depth Financials product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, the sales teams and existing customers.
Assist in assessing potential application of Workday solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions while showcasing the value of our solution.
Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Assist with responding to prospect Request for Proposals on an as needed basis.
Ability to travel ~30%.
Solution Consulting will equip you with skills such as:
Domain expertise and experience in Financial and cross ERP functions.
Strong presentation skills -– including focused software demonstration techniques, sales messaging and storytelling.
Proven experience with various internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Chief Financial Office (CFO).
Problem solving skills to address prospect concerns and requirements and craft creative solutions.
Value based selling (value led approach) in a Solution Consulting / Sales Consulting environment.
Strong technical and industry knowledge to assist with solutioning and problem solving.
Tight-knit collaboration and team spirit, working across various lines of business and partners to achieve positive customer outcomes, to become a trusted adviser and valued contributor both internally and externally.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years in a solution consulting role
2+ years in a financial domain related position
Experience demonstrating initiative and committed results, preferably in Financials domain as a Finance practitioner or sales/solution consulting of Financials suite.
Other Qualifications:
Solution Consulting / Consulting experience with Financial enterprise business solutions a plus.
Previous work experience in storytelling.
Bachelor’s degree (or a local equivalent experience).
