Role Overview:          

  • Blue Yonder is seeking creative, high-energy talent who has both technical hands-on capabilities, as well as, domain knowledge in Supply Chain

  • The candidate will be a part of the Manufacturing Industries organization and work closely in conjunction with Product Mgmt/Product Dev, Industry Solutions, Pre-Sales, Customer Implementation SA’s, as well as, Product Marketing

  • The candidate will be self-driven, strong problem-solver with good communication skills, attention to details, competitive drive, good teamwork skills, and ability to synthesize perspectives at Industry levels to formulate and support industry messaging. 

  • The candidate is to have solution execution capability to accelerate product capabilities applied to the field (pre-sales, implementations).  The candidate will be involved in positioning of solutions and developing demos in support of sales cycles, delivering impact to customers through solution architecting, and driving requirements back to the product teams to improve competitiveness of Blue Yonder solutions.

  • The candidate will be involved in various aspects of prospect to customer full lifecycle, including participating in Supply Chain Opportunity Assessment or Impact Assessment

Ideal candidate skills/Qualities

  • This is position that requires knowledge of SCM domain, technical solution architecture, strong communication skills, tactical execution and the ability to identify and drive changes to the product with velocity.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, succinctly articulate business impacts, translate technical information into layperson and business terms, concisely ‘storyboard’ complex problems, solutions, and approaches in a manner appropriate for executives, develop frameworks, templates, and high-quality pragmatic deliverables that can be carried forth and executed by project teams, and articulate and demonstrate gaps in our products based on real world customer use cases. 

  • He or she has problem solving skills with the ability to develop and analyze options/hypotheses objectively, applies industry-leading practices, and facilitates negotiations/discussions involving groups of diverse stakeholders.

Experience that will make this role Successful:

  • In-depth understanding of and experience working within the key industry vertical and SCM industry solution architecture

  • Extremely knowledgeable in Business, Industry, and IT Strategy and Architecture

  • Partner or senior level engagement manager at a large systems integrator, IT Consulting firm or competitive organization where he/she has run a large solutions/services business; most likely at a level where they have managed the strategy and business development efforts

  • In-depth understanding of current cloud technologies and products, and has a strong sense for market trends and emerging technologies and tools within and outside Supply Chain solutions

  • Professional leadership of global customer engagements, including an understanding of customers unique business needs and objectives and budget situation (Total cost of operation)

  • Has built transformation enterprise architecture in Large or Complex organizations that align with their business strategy and goals driving growth and cost reduction.

Desired skills:

  • Solution Architecture for Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and technologies including databases, analytical solutions, IoT, and its applications

  • Intrapreneurship & new solution introduction

  • Presales skills such as discovery sessions, requirement gathering, solution architecture, presentation to the C-suite, Blue Yonder solution demonstrations on industry scenarios

  • Design Thinking methodology for product innovation and design led digital transformation.
