The Role

Sauce Labs’ Solutions Architects perform a critical role in ensuring our customers successfully implement and optimize our continuous testing solutions. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our customers throughout their journey with Sauce Labs. Solutions Architects work closely with customers to design and implement our product portfolio, ensuring they leverage Sauce Labs' capabilities to the fullest.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Advisory Services virtually or travel onsite to the customer’s location to conduct technical workshops.
  • Design and architect test automation solutions tailored to the customer’s specific needs and continuous testing program.
  • Educate and reinforce best practices in test automation and continuous testing throughout the customer’s organization, driving awareness and adoption.
  • Analyze customers’ testing requirements and workflows to identify opportunities for optimizing their test automation processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, solution engineers, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment for the account.
  • Work cross-functionally within Sauce Labs to ensure customer requirements are understood and met by our product and engineering teams.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers, sourcing additional resources internally as needed to address specific customer challenges.
  • Track and be accountable for customer success metrics, including adoption and satisfaction.
  • Travel up to 25%
Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
  • Proficiency in one or more testing frameworks (e.g., WebdriverIO, TestNG, Playwright, JUnit, Pytest)
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with development environments like IntelliJ IDEA
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC processes
  • A focus on solving customer problems and building lasting relationships
  • Background in software quality assurance and testing

We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role.
