About the Role

The Solution Architect as a seasoned proficient professional will be an influential and senior level memberof our Consulting Team, who will understand our customers’ most pressing business performancechallenges and will be committed to helping our customers solve complex issues in their supply chainmanagement practice. The incumbent will be responsible for working with new and existing customers,provide expert guidance in integrating our product offerings so that our customers can start to experiencethe immediate value of Kinaxis solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate the value of the Kinaxis solution throughout the customer journey and serve as aproduct and supply chain subject matter expert.
  • Lead workshops with customers to understand and document supply chain softwarerequirements, as well as define objectives and targets for software implementations withmultiple levels of complexity.
  • Define the overall systems architecture and data flow for customers business needs, includingboth standard and unique software functionalities to be used as well as any software extensionsneeded.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for deployments.
  • Coach and delegate configuration tasks to project team members.
  • Resolve complex data and analytics configurations to ensure the solution is producing theexpected results.
  • Oversee the successful validation and testing of the solution as well as data management anddata integration related activities.
  • Provide functional leadership and recommendations during critical deployment escalations or toresolve complex supply chain challenges. Mentor and support all levels of solution consultantsthroughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Influence internal functions to shape the product roadmap and work on solutions that meetcustomer needs or new industries.
  • Participate in services sales opportunities to highlight the value of Maestro implementation andmethodology. Present complex information concisely to business stakeholders up to executivelevel roles

Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research,Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of broad experience in software implementation consulting in the supplychain planning or supply chain execution space or business experience in supply planning,demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.
  • At least 3 direct years as a solution architect or lead functional consultant for enterprise levelsupply chain transformation projects.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, adept communicator skilled at managing customer and stakeholderinteractions.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced, matrixwork environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complexinformation to determine and lead teams towards best course of action.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal and coaching/mentoring capabilities within a dedicated,matrixed work team.Role Specific Skills and experience
  • Subject matter expert in supply chain concepts and best practices coupled with in-depthexperience with supply chain solutions and applications (such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle or BlueYonder).
  • Experience producing complex blueprints on business processes and translating to technicalrequirements during software implementations.
  • Technical leadership experience in data integration, data management, system configurationand system deployment for supply chain software implementations.
  • Proficiency with SQL, R and/or Java Script.
  • Open to travel 75% on average and 100% occasionally and can work effectively when workingremotely from client sites.
