Are you passionate about ensuring software quality and driving test automation? Elekta is looking for a Software Test Lead to join our IntelliMax team!
As a Software Test Lead, you will play a key role in shaping our testing strategy, working closely with software engineers to enhance our automated testing capabilities. Reporting to the IntelliMax Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with the delivery team to support the software development lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and reliability in our solutions.

What you’ll do at Elekta
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
Strategy
-
Streamline and improve the current testing process.

Coordinate the test automation approach and day to day operation.
Manual Testing
-
Hands on manual testing for the current projects.
-
Proactively help to debug and diagnose issues.
Management
-
Mentor the two test team members, helping them to manage their workload, priorities and skill set.
-
Coordinate between stakeholders, communicate estimates and raise risks.
-
Provide product guidance and support for front line support issues.
-
Support the management of the test environments.

Support with the validation process.
The right stuff

Proven ability to think in a strategic manner to develop innovative product solutions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling written, graphical, and spoken content tailored for customers, senior-level management, design and research teams, or a large, diverse audience.

Take personal accountability for the timeliness and quality of deliverables, working on assigned tasks as part of a team.
What you bring
-
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field; or 3 years of related professional experience in a similar technical field.
-
3 years’ experience with hands-on testing.
-
Ability to debug and diagnose software defects.
-
Experience with DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps, Git.
-
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
-
Demonstrated ability to scope, prioritize, and drive improvement initiatives across support processes, DevOps, environment management, and change controls.
