What you’ll do

  • Working with our existing server-based customers and helping them transition to the cloud, you will understand our client needs, challenges and goals to provide them with tailored solutions
  • Staying up to date and fully informed about our product offerings and demonstrating a deep understanding of alternative products and their benefits
  • Keeping abreast of current industry trends competitive landscape, and market developments
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets. Your proactive approach will involve solving problems before they occur, coming up with innovative ways to ensure the successful usage of our solution, and developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet sales targets
  • You will support, retain and grow customers, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions whilst identifying opportunities to grow sales through retaining, upselling and cross selling
  • Engage in consultative conversations with clients to uncover their pain points and business objectives to truly understand their priorities and needs
  • Propose innovative and customised solutions to address client needs, be able to multi-thread and involve all relevant customer stakeholders in your deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Success and Marketing, to align offerings with client expectations and effectively identify opportunities
  • Focus on hitting individual targets, work closely with the sales team to share insights and contribute to overall sales strategy and targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system (Hubspot) and provide regular analysis of sales performance, pipeline, and market trends
What you will bring with you
  • Previous experience with a SAAS company
  • Experience working within open-source software industry
  • Familiar with CRM software (ideally HubSpot)
  • Ability to build relationships and manage expectations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Scientific approach to sales, data driven and technically adept in understanding software solutions
  • Understanding of business processes/requirements connected with selling/purchase of complex technical software solutions, a technical understanding, can learn quickly and easily grasp new software applications.
  • Self-motivated, organised and logical with effective time management
