Description

We’re building the world’s first visual modelling solution for corporate structures and transactions. Our mission is to transform the way that professionals work with complex information. Taking what’s traditionally found in impenetrable, text-based legal documents, StructureFlow enables users to dynamically collate, visualise and model information holistically, enabling professionals to cut through complexity through the power of visual working.

StructureFlow has just secured Series A funding. We are growing fast and are at an exciting stage of scaling up. We have great traction today, working with over 50 highly engaged international law firms including 3/5 of the UK Magic Circle and a sizable segment of the US AMLAW 200.

As part of our scale up we are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join our agile team and help us to leap forwards. StructureFlow has a dynamic, hybrid culture with 3 days in our WeWork London (Shoreditch/Liverpool Street) based office. We will provide all equipment for working from home, and our office in Central London offers a working space to use.

Requirements

You will be focused on ensuring our software corresponds to the specifications and highest quality standards of software development and deployment.

Whilst the primary focus is on manual testing of our React, Node.JS and Mongo stack, you will also get involved in E2E, API and Load test automation as well as testing of infrastructure as code deployments and general deployment activities and integrations testing.

  • Scope and build automated and manual tests to ensure developer code is fit for purpose.
  • Monitor, track, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Carry out different types of testing: functional testing (smoke, sanity, regression and usability), acceptance testing, integration testing, load testing, security testing, database testing, and non-functional testing (including for performance and security).
  • Review new software requirements and prepare and update testing scenarios.
  • Liaise with the team through daily stand-ups and sprint refinement sessions to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Adapt testing techniques and coverage to a rapidly evolving product.

Experience

You have commercial experience in testing Enterprise-ready secure web-based applications. You also have a passion and commitment to automate as much as possible and have demonstrable experience in scripting tests utilising JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.

It would be great if you can demonstrate experience with the following:

  • Automation of Web based applications through Cypress
  • Automation and manual verification of REST Services (e.g. Postman)
  • Automation and manual verification of Performance and Load test scenarios (e.g. Gatling)
  • Automation and manual verification of Security test scenarios (OWASP ZAP)
  • Understanding integration of GitHub Actions in building CI/CD workflows for automation frameworks
  • Issue tracking management and resolution using Shortcut/Jira or similar

As a team we value best practises, performance optimisations and integrate security by design.

Any experience relating to Legal tech or FinTech would be a welcome bonus.

Education

Ideally degree educated, yet we value approach and methodology more. If you can test to current standards and best practices in a secure and collaborative way, would invite you to apply.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Opportunity to join a dynamic, startup in our mission to become the critical infrastructure for transactions of the future
  • High impact work that really matters - success in this role will drive our company forwards and have an outsized impact on our business and our clients
  • Flexible working – 3 days in our WeWork London office
  • Learning & development budgets and support
  • Regular socials and events for the whole company

The Process

Following an initial review, we may request a combination of an interview, a more technical interview, and look for a willingness to participate in either a test or small assignment.

Please note that any job offer is subject to criminal record and barring checks.
