As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Indice you will be joining a team serving a large banking institution. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing and maintaining financial web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include

  • Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand digital banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications
  • Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams
  • Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
  • Provide detailed test reports, including defect trends and recommendations for process improvements.

Remote collaboration is required for this role.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
  • 3+ years in UAT testing, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
  • Strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
  • Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
  • Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
