The Video Devices Teams in the R&D center in Krakow have been growing dynamically since 2019. Currently, we have more than 60 specialists on board working on solutions for fixed and mobile (body-worn) cameras. We bring advanced video capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure, and public venues.
Job Description

The Krakow Camera Firmware team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager who will oversee a Scrum team's managerial aspects throughout the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of selected smart camera features and modules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Hardware, QA, Product) to deliver on firmware release commitments and ensure alignment with company roadmaps.

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of talented engineers.

  • Develop people and the team through planning, coaching, challenging assignments, feedback, and support.

  • Identify knowledge gaps and assist employees in creating plans to address them.

  • Define standard metrics and utilize them to report the current status of ongoing initiatives.


Basic Requirements
  • Experience in leading people as a manager or technical lead.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, identify risks/issues, formulate recommendations, and drive sound decisions that deliver results.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • English language proficiency that allows efficient communication.

  • Education at the college/university level in a technical field (Engineering / IT).
