As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of talented engineers responsible for designing, building, and operating mission-critical systems. You’ll balance people leadership, technical excellence, and delivery, while partnering closely with Product, Architecture, and other Engineering leaders.

Job Descriptions:
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of software engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, and career development
- Drive the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions in a regulated fintech environment
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business goals into clear technical plans and execution
- Own technical decision-making within your team while contributing to broader architectural discussions
- Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ensure operational excellence through strong engineering practices (code reviews, testing, observability, incident management)
- Hire exceptional engineers and help scale the team thoughtfully as Tipalti grows
About You:
- Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager (or a senior tech lead transitioning into management)
- Strong background in building and operating production-grade systems (e.g., distributed systems, APIs, backend platforms)
- Experience leading teams using modern engineering practices (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automated testing)
- Ability to balance hands-on technical understanding with people and delivery leadership
- Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
- Passion for building inclusive, high-performing teams
