WisdomTree is seeking a Software Engineer based in London to join the Technology Team in Europe.
We are looking for a mid-level software engineer to lead the design and implementation of automation initiatives for our operations teams. You will primarily focus on identifying, streamlining, and automating business processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across operational workflows.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand existing manual processes, develop automation solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure continuous improvements.
We need someone with a passion for automation, a problem-solving mindset, and a can-do attitude to drive efficiency across the business. Your work will directly improve operational efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and enhance business agility for Wisdomtree Europe.

Responsibilities
- Full SDLC ownership for automation projects: from ideation, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and build cloud-native tools and scripts for automating repetitive tasks and workflows and integrate them with the core applications such as pricing, online tool via API.
- Maintain and monitor production-ready automation solutions to ensure reliability and observability.
- Upskill and mentor operations team members on leveraging automation solutions effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- Solid programming experience in Python and scripting languages.
- Experience with workflow automation tools and scripting for operational processes.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and modular code to automate workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex manual tasks into scalable automated processes.
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django / Fast API / Flask.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and serverless solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Exposure to .NET for integrating with legacy systems.
- Experience re-engineering enterprise applications for modern automation solutions.
- GitHub/Bitbucket repositories showcasing automation tools, scripts, or processes developed.
