As an Infrastructure and Development Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Banking team, you will design, build, and maintain robust AI/ML infrastructure. You will leverage AWS, Terraform, and Python to create secure and scalable environments for model deployment. Collaborating with internal teams, you will contribute to a culture of innovation and ensure our solutions align with the firm's technology strategy. Your work will help promote operational efficiency and support our commitment to excellence.
Job Responsibilities:

• Design, engineer, and implement AI/ML infrastructure solutions using AWS, Terraform, and Python
• Ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency in all infrastructure projects
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize performance
• Automate provisioning and management processes to enhance stability and reduce manual tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials
• Align solutions with existing systems and cloud architecture
• Contribute to a team culture that values opportunity and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and expanding applied experience.
• Proficiency with AWS technologies, including EKS, S3, Database, and Lambda
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and automation
• Competence in Python programming
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
• Experience in infrastructure engineering, implementation, testing, and operational stability
• Familiarity with continuous delivery methods and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Proficiency in infrastructure applications and technical processes within cloud computing and automation
• Understanding of AI/ML model purposes and functions
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with business stakeholders
• Knowledge of financial services industry IT systems
• Degree-level education

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Experience supporting AI/ML model deployments in production environments
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
• Exposure to regulatory requirements in financial services
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Ability to mentor and support junior engineers
