As the second engineer at Kult, you will build a real-time AI voice assistant that watches gameplay and provides expert advice without needing an alt-tab. You will orchestrate complex LLM pipelines, develop low-latency voice interactions, and scale a deep game knowledge engine to enhance the experience for players across every genre.

What you will do:
Design and implement real-time voice interaction systems that feel natural and responsive enough for high-stakes competitive gaming environments.
Architect a massive knowledge engine that extracts and models complex game mechanics, items, and strategies from diverse, unstructured data sources.
Develop computer vision systems to recognize game states and player context in milliseconds, delivering proactive assistance through natural conversation.
The ideal candidate:
Expert-level TypeScript full-stack skills with deep experience in Node.js, React, and Postgres, capable of owning features from schema to UI.
Proven experience building with LLMs, specifically orchestrating multi-step reasoning, prompt engineering, and managing context assembly under strict latency constraints.
A dedicated gamer with deep domain expertise in RPGs, strategy, or competitive titles who intuitively understands what players need mid-session.
