We’re an agile organisation. Most teams use Scrum with two-week sprints, but we’re not dogmatic. Our engineering and product managers are encouraged to adapt processes to fit their team’s rhythm.

We’re a cloud-first company built on AWS, and we believe in pragmatic engineering: delivering real business value, not just writing code. Our senior engineers regularly collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, from ops to execs, ensuring technology decisions align with real-world needs.

• Backend: Java (Spring) & Python

• Frontend: JavaScript (Vue.js)

• Infrastructure: AWS

• Legacy: PHP (in active migration)

• Other: TypeScript (where appropriate)

We’re pragmatic about tech, we’ll use the right tool for the job. If you’re passionate about modern, scalable systems and can handle working on some legacy code, you’ll fit right in.

• Troubleshoot, design, and implement software that helps scale and future-proof our platform

• Write clean, logical, and maintainable code that’s ready for production

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex problems

• Champion testing and quality practices to ensure robust, reliable releases

• Continuously look for ways to improve our systems, tools, and workflows

What you'll bring:

• Experience with our tech stack or in similar languages with a desire to learn

• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions

• An understanding of web technologies and scalability

• Familiarity with CI/CD, QA practices, and Agile delivery

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be told; you make things happen

• Based in the UK and able to commute to our Hammersmith office (3 days a week minimum)
