Job Description
We’re looking for an SDET Test Engineer to join our dynamic team and help drive quality through automation. You'll be part of an innovative team, building tests that focuses on integrated & automated test practices within our CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with developers, you’ll ensure strong test coverage, catch edge cases, and advocate for high-quality releases. If you have solid backend testing experience, know Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, and have used Cypress or Playwright technologies
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend and frontend components.
- Write and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for backend/API and UI testing.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, GitHub Actions) to integrate automated tests.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine test strategies, cover edge cases, and ensure high test coverage.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and potential risks.
- Advocate for quality across the organization, ensuring product releases meet high standards.
- Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment, taking on new challenges and responsibilities as needed.
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong emphasis on backend testing and automation.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for frontend testing.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests.
- Familiarity with Bash scripting and networking concepts.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend testing.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working in Agile Development environment.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with GPU-based workflows or high-performance computing (HPC).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Grafana k6, Gatling).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
