About the Role:

The Pricing team mission is to attract and retain customers by serving them the right price and incentives for the offering that is aligned with their values and willingness to pay.

You will work as a Backend Developer, building and extending Pricing Platform that supports multiple complementary products and leverages AI to determine the best pricing and incentive strategies for millions of customers worldwide. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to power experiments and deliver thoughtful, data-driven decisions – all while building high-scale backend services that directly impact growth, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Poland.

You Will: 

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing specialists, ML engineers, data scientists to empower high-impact pricing strategies.

  • Optimize platform performance for high availability and low-latency, ensuring reliability to support global customer bases.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, deploying updates and bug fixes to ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvement.

  • Support the pricing team through a rotating on-call schedule.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

You Have:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience

  • Proficient in a general purpose language such as Java or Golang

  • Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, bonus points for experience managing big data

  • Proven experience and understanding of software development practices, system design, software design patterns, and algorithms

  • Fluent English on B2 level or higher
