Your Role
We are looking for either a developer with strong system understanding or someone with some experience in automation who is eager to explore programming. As a Software Developer, you will work in a dynamic environment where you dive deep into C# code, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams. You will engage with project managers, engineering colleagues, and critical infrastructure customers. This role involves both exploring existing code and occasionally writing new code, requiring curiosity and technical insight.
You will be part of The Digital Team, an expert group solving tasks across disciplines and sharing knowledge. The team consists of 10 colleagues ranging from student assistants to senior experts with over 40 years of experience. It is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong focus on supporting ABB’s transformation journey.

Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain software solutions using C# and related technologies.
Analyze and troubleshoot code to identify and resolve issues.
Collaborate with project managers and international development teams.
Ensure smooth communication with customers in critical infrastructure sectors.
Participate in transformation processes and cross-functional projects.
Work on interfaces between different systems and solutions.
Drive small, fast-paced solutions and continuous improvements.
Occasionally perform coding tasks and contribute to technical documentation.
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar IT education.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with C# and MS SQL databases.
Skilled in problem-solving and eager to learn new technologies.
Experience in automation or process industry projects is a definite advantage.
You thrive on direct customer interaction, ensuring smooth installation and configuration of software solutions that meet customer requirements.
Ability to collaborate and find solutions together with colleagues.
Fluent in Danish and English, with ability to produce Danish documentation.

You will have a fixed base in our office in Middelfart, Ballerup, Aalborg, or Esbjerg. We also offer the possibility of working from home a few days a week.
