Wheely is a high-end ride-hailing service redefining premium transportation across major cities in Europe and the Middle East. We combine technology with the art of five-star chauffeuring to deliver a consistently exceptional experience.

As a profitable, fast-growing scale-up with $43M raised, we're expanding rapidly across EMEA and the US. We're adding exceptional talent to drive our next phase of growth.

As the Social Media & Marketing Executive, you will take full ownership of Wheely’s social media presence and play a central role in the delivery of our marketing communications. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for shaping our brand narrative across digital platforms, growing and engaging our community, and supporting integrated campaigns that drive awareness.

You will work cross-functionally with partnerships, events, and design teams to ensure every piece of content aligns with Wheely’s tone, values, and premium positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media plan aligned with campaign calendars and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Event Manager and Head of Partnerships to deliver impactful social coverage of events and partner activations.
  • Oversee content production end-to-end: briefing design and creative teams, coordinating shoots, selecting visuals, and approving content prior to publishing.
  • Provide on-site support at key events for live coverage and real-time community engagement.
  • Grow and maintain the ambassador programme in partnership with the Head of Partnerships.
  • Track, analyse, and report on social performance monthly, using insights to inform future content and strategy.
  • Manage and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring timely, on-brand content delivery across platforms.

Marketing Communications

  • Create clear and compelling campaign briefs and messaging frameworks (e.g. for product launches, promotions, or seasonal campaigns).
  • Write marketing copy across owned channels, maintaining a consistent, premium tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure all assets meet brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Support the delivery and analysis of integrated campaigns, working closely with internal teams to track performance.
  • Manage above-the-line initiatives such as OOH, inflight, and print placements, in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience managing and growing social media channels, particularly Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with a sharp eye for brand tone and storytelling
  • Strong visual sense and experience working with designers and creative teams to produce high-quality content
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across multiple teams
  • Prior experience working with luxury brands or passion for luxury

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
