Description

payabl. empowers businesses to grow through payments innovation and banking services. Our ambition is to expand our strong portfolio of global financial services we provide to businesses and make them all available in one place on our platform we call payabl.one. As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts.
This role is about:

As a Social Media Manager, you will lead and shape our social media presence across platforms, building an engaged community both online and offline. You’ll be responsible for creating and executing our social media strategy, translating industry trends into actionable plans while collaborating with internal teams to elevate our employer branding efforts. Your focus will be on producing compelling content for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X, ensuring consistency with our brand and business goals. Strong communication skills, creativity, and experience in fintech or payments will be key to success in this role.

Location: Hybrid in London Offices

Reporting to: Content Marketing Manager
What you will do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a dynamic social media strategy across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
  • Build an engaged community by fostering interactions both online and offline, engaging with team members and stakeholders.
  • Download industry trends and translate them into tactical social media plans that align with our brand's goals.
  • Curate and create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience, incorporating creative formats like videos, infographics, and posts.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, particularly in the fintech industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on employer branding initiatives, suggesting formats and working on content strategies to highlight our culture.
  • Manage relationships with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach and drive engagement in line with the PR strategy.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing content and engagement.
  • Ensure differentiation between platforms, creating platform-specific content rather than repurposing the same across all channels.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and other stakeholders to support events, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall content strategy by brainstorming ideas that resonate with our audience and promote growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in fintech or payments
  • Knowledge: Proven experience in B2B social media management with a focus on creating engaging content and growing audiences

What we need:

  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools, with experience tailoring content to specific platforms.
  • Strong English fluency, particularly in writing engaging and on-brand social media posts.
  • Experience in employer branding initiatives, including video creation and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like HubSpot and Slack for internal communication.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box, while also staying organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently, while also collaborating with various teams (PR, content writers, videographers, etc.).
  • Experience with SEO and web traffic metrics to inform content strategies.
  • Knowledge of the fintech industry and a solid understanding of how social media can support growth in this space.
  • Previous experience in external communication teams with strong emphasis on public messaging and brand voice.
