This is a craft-focused role for someone who enjoys turning complex ideas into value-led content through filming, editing, writing, and publishing work that is clear, credible, and educational to our audience of 3 million.

You’ll work closely with our Social Media Manager to keep our channels consistent, reactive, and improving, with a strong focus on short-form video and storytelling.

Our team moves quickly, values experimentation, and iterates based on data and reaction.
The superstar team you’ll work directly with:

  • ZOE’s Social Media Manager (your Line Manager)

  • ZOE’s PR, Podcast, Creative, Marketing, and Product teams

  • ZOE’s expert spokespeople and contributors

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
  • Content Creator: Filming, editing, and publishing a high weekly volume of short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Editing & Optimisation Specialist: Turning raw footage into multiple high-performing formats, shaping pacing, hooks, and structure to maximise retention.

  • Multi-Voice Copywriter: Write sharp, platform-native captions and scripts, adapting tone of voice across ZOE and our expert spokespeople.

  • On-Set Operator: Support and run London-based shoots, capturing strong content efficiently, working with senior talent, and spotting opportunities in the moment.

  • Reactive Content Builder: Move quickly from idea to publish, turning around timely, relevant content without compromising quality.

  • Organisation & Workflow Owner: Keep content pipelines running smoothly by managing assets, versions, and approvals.

  • Creative Collaborator: Work with the Social Media Manager to evolve formats, test new ideas, and improve performance across our core content pillars.

🧠 What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • Organic Social Experience: 1-3 years creating or supporting content for a brand or professional creator, with a strong understanding of what performs on short-form platforms.

  • Content Creation & Editing Skills: Confident shooting and editing short-form video, with a clear sense of pacing, structure, and platform-native formats.

  • On-Set Experience: Comfortable working in content shoots. You’re organised, proactive, and able to adapt in fast-moving environments.

  • Growth Mindset: Experience contributing to the launch or growth of an organic social channel, with a track record of improving performance over time.

  • Writing & Tone of Voice: You’re able to write clearly and adapt tone across different formats, audiences, and speakers.

🏅Bonus Experience
  • Nutrition, Health and Science Experience/Knowledge: You have previous experience in or are knowledgeable about nutrition, health, and science.

  • Community Management: You’re an expert in engaging with and growing online audiences.

  • Systems Thinking: You’re comfortable working within structured workflows and improving how content gets made and delivered.

  • Platform Expansion: You have experience or interest in launching and growing new channels.

💫 What’s Exciting About This Role
  • Work directly with world-leading scientists and help translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content

  • Be part of a fast-moving team focused on meaningful, evidence-based storytelling

  • Take ownership of execution and see your work reach a large, global audience

  • Develop your craft across filming, editing, writing, and performance optimisation
