Description

Working across marketing and editorial this role will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging content strategies across social media platforms, aiming to enhance brand presence, editorial content, drive audience engagement, and achieve marketing goals.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all social media channels, including planning, writing and scheduling engaging posts. 
  • Great copywriting! Understand and mirror both the brand and the creative industry voice through a combination of business and creative social media copy.  
  • Work with both marketing and editorial to ensure interesting and timely news, views and promotional content is shared daily across all social media platforms. 
  • Replying to questions and comments, repost relevant brand content shares 
  • Grow the audience, work across platforms to follow production companies, agencies, post production houses and other industry relevant businesses on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Follow individuals from the creative industry on LinkedIn. 
  • Create and manage social media campaigns for events, projects partnerships, working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure they are in line with the rest of the marketing campaign. 
  • Cultivate and manage client/audience and influencer and social media relationships and lead on reposting activity. 
  • Identify and research relevant trends, topics, and audience preferences.  
  • Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and consistent with brand voice and guidelines.  
  • Optimize content for different social media platforms.  
  • Collaborate with designers, editorial, and other team members to produce high-quality content.  

Creative advertising Community Engagement: 

  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers and clients and sponsors.  
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.  
  • Build and nurture online communities.  
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: 
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.  
  • Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.  
  • Prepare reports on social media performance and ROI.  

Staying Up-to-Date: 

  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, best practices, and tools.  
  • Continuously experiment with new content formats and strategies.  

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with marketing and editorial teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.  
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Film, Advertising, Media, Communications or a related field 
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media field in a creative industry 
  • Experience with marketing automation software such as Hubspot, Marketo, salesforce etc. 
  • Experience in analysing social media data and making interpretions to benefit direction of campaigns and plans  
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Experience in managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Exceptional eye for detail. 
  • Experience with design and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is preferred 
  • Other duties as assigned
