About You

As the Social Media Content Executive (SMCE) you will be an organised and motivated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in the B2C and Marketing Team.

You strive to grow communities and engagement rates across platforms by creating and optimising content across the website to drive website clicks and conversions via social. You are the go-to source for relevant hospitality news, trends, new openings, and insights that will excite our current audience and support growth targets.

Community management and platform growth are two other key areas of focus for the SMCE. You will support the growth of followers across active platforms by creating and scheduling show-stopping social content, nurturing relationships with current audiences, building on followers and implementing innovative ways to make these platforms highly engaging spaces.

You are a positive member of the team who is comfortable with feedback, loves hospitality, thrives on collaborating and supporting others, while confidently fulfilling your role and day-to-day responsibilities. You are keen to grow in your role by developing your skills across video visual branding and content strategies.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy: Research and produce high-volume, SEO-optimised website content and social media copy that drives traffic and engagement, whilst staying current with hospitality trends and key cultural moments

Calendar Management & Scheduling: Build and manage content calendars, schedule posts at optimal times across platforms, and maintain posting cadences that meet internal performance benchmarks

Community Engagement & Management: Actively nurture online communities through proactive engagement, responding to comments and messages, and building relationships with other accounts to expand reach

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor social media audiences through data analysis, report on social and organic search performance, and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs across website and social metrics

Skills

Content Creation & SEO Expertise: You're a confident copywriter who produces compelling, creative copy across website and social media with minimal edits, whilst applying SEO knowledge and conducting exceptional research to deliver content under tight deadlines

Technical Proficiency & Data Analysis: You're efficient with tools including Semrush, Bitly, Plausible, InShot, Hootsuite, and Meta, using data-driven insights to spot opportunities and optimise content performance

Trend Awareness & Creative Thinking: You identify emerging trends early and react with engaging, brand-appropriate content, channelling creative thinking to build impressive social media presence with keen attention to visual detail

Organisation & Impact-Driven Results: You demonstrate excellent organisational skills, manage multiple deadlines effectively, and identify quick wins that deliver measurable improvements in engagement and performance
