The opportunity

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for social media? We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Consultant to lead and energise our company’s social media presence—primarily on LinkedIn—across multiple UK and European markets.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Media Relations & Content, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative communications and marketing team, driving impactful content creation and managing agency partnerships across diverse business portfolios.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan and shape the LinkedIn strategy for QBE Europe’s central account and its related pages.
  • Get creative with designing LinkedIn assets and writing engaging posts to go along with them.
  • Work with our studio and external partners to bring your design ideas to life.
  • Manage the scheduling and approval process for five different European agencies on LinkedIn.
  • Lead a training program to help employees become awesome advocates on social media.
  • Be the go-to person for all social media requests from the business.
  • Keep an eye on social media channels and jump in to manage responses when needed.

About you

You’re experienced in managing LinkedIn channels and comfortable handling social media campaigns in multiple languages. If you’re someone who thrives on planning, creating compelling content, and working with international teams to execute engaging strategies, we want to hear from you!

Skills you'll need:

  • B2B Social Media Management: You’ll take the lead in managing our B2B social media presence, crafting strategies that spark conversation and drive engagement across platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Engaging Copywriting: You’ll write clever, compelling copy that grabs attention and resonates with our audience, turning every post into something they can’t scroll past.
  • Proofreading & Polishing: You’ll ensure every piece of content is sharp, error-free, and up to the highest standard—because every word counts when you’re telling a story.
  • Project Management: You’ll juggle multiple projects with ease, keeping everything on track, on time, and aligned with our goals. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven? That’s you.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Whether it’s brainstorming with the team or collaborating with external partners, your communication skills will shine. You’ll keep everyone in the loop and make sure the creative process flows smoothly.
  • Design & Video Editing Skills: Not just a wordsmith—you’ve got a knack for design and video editing, helping bring your content to life with visuals that captivate and elevate the message.
